Lash Extension Preperation

•Shower prior to your appointment, eliminating any unnecessary contact with water or steam within the first 48 hours will insure that the bond between the semi permanent lashes and your natural lashes has enough time to properly set.

•Wear comfortable clothing, you will  lay  down for 60 to 90 minutes with dimmed lights and soft music as your backdrop during your eyelash application, comfortable clothes will allow you to make the most of this time to relax and be pampered.

•Remove your contacts, your eyes will be closed during the application of your eyelash extensions,  to avoid any discomfort, it is always suggested that contacts are removed allowing eyes to be comfortable in a natural and rested state.

•Turn off your cellphone just prior to your appointment, this is truly a time to sit back and relax. ringing cellphones will only interrupt your treatment. enjoy the “me” time, and let your lash transformation begin.

•Don’t wear makeup, makeup products worn close to the eye will need to be removed prior to the lash application process. Lashes must be fresh and clean in order to be properly prepped to receive eye lash extension. Coming to your appointment with a clean face will save time and eliminate the need for you lash stylist to remove your eye makeup.

•Don't Apply face creams or sunblock to the eye area, the oils within many moisturizers and sunblock can prevent the eyelash glue from properly adhering to your natural lashes, dramatically reducing the longevity of your eyelash extensions.

• Dont Curl your lashes on the day of your lash application. We need your eyelashes to be in the most natural and healthy state they can prior to your lash extension application.  please do not curl your eyelashes, or use any other manipulation on them the day of your appointment.

Lash Extension After-Care

•DO NOT get your new lashes wetfor the first 8 hours. This will allow the glue to dry thoroughly. Avoid hot steam from a shower or sauna.Water or even steam can loosen the glue, causing extensions to fall off or clump together. Skip the gym until the glue has fully set. If you’re not sure, it’s always best to wait.

•AVOID oil-based cleansers, lotions or makeup removers as these products will dissolve the eyelash bonding agent. Use instead MICHA Lash Makeup Remover Pads to gently remove any makeup.

•DO NOT use waterproof or oil-based mascara as the ingredients in these types of mascaras will dissolve the eyelash bonding agent. Use instead an mascara for Lash Extensions or a water soluable mascara and apply only to the tips of the lashes to restore the bright black color without adding any weight to the lashes.

•AVOID the use of eyelash curler as they will damage and break your extensions.

•DO schedule an Touch Up appointment  with your certified Lash Professional every 2-4 weeks to refill any gaps caused by replenished natural lashes.

•Don’t rub your eyes. It can feel strange at first to have eyelash extensions, but it is important not to rub your eyes or pull at your lashes. This drastically reduces the lifespan of the extensions, and it isn’t great for natural eyelashes either.

•Do style your eyelash extensions daily. Since extensions are much longer than natural lashes, they need a little extra shaping. While they’re damp, gently comb them into shape with the brush provided to you from BeeLash.
