Eyelash Extensions can be made of many different materials. If you have sensitive eyes or allergies, you may want to choose a type of extension that is hypoallergenic.
Human Hair- Eyelash extensions made of human hair are first cleansed and sanitized, then shaped to mimic eyelashes. Similar to mink, they give a light, feathery and natural look. Human hair extensions are a fantastic option if you are sceptical about trying eyelash extensions, as they feel the most natural. Human hair eyelash extensions last longer than any other eyelash extensions because they are so light and porous.
Faux Mink – These eyelash extensions are made of synthetic materials and have all of the light, soft and feathery qualities of Siberian mink eyelash extensions. Unlike genuine mink they are 100% hypoallergenic.
Mink – These Eyelash extensions are made of 100% Siberian mink. Mink eyelash extensions are combed off of live minks (without harming them, of course!) They are much finer, softer, and more flexible than synthetic extensions, and give a feathery, natural look. Natural fibres are more porous than synthetic and thus will adhere better to the natural lash.
Synthetic –These eyelash extensions are made from polyester and formed into a cone like shape. They are wider at the base, and superfine at the tip. They are 100% hypoallergenic.

Length
Eyelash Extensions range in length from 6 to 15 millimeters. The proper length of extension for each individual varies depending on the length of your natural eyelashes. The longer the natural lash, the longer the extension can be. Lash Boutique carries lashes that range in length from 6 millimeters to 15 millimeters.

J Curl – These have the least amount of curl and are most like human lashes. Since they’re only slightly curled, they give the longest length of area to bond with the adhesive, which creates a stronger bond.
C Curl – These have more curl than J curl lashes, which makes the eyes look wider and more open.
D Curl – These lashes have a much more extreme curl than C curl lashes. They work best on those with a lot of natural curl to their lashes so that the extension can sit properly on the natural lash.
L Curl – These lashes curl up at a much sharper angle than other lashes. They make the eyes look much larger because they protrude forward before a lovely, gentle lift. These are great for those with almond shaped, as they create rounder, more open eyes.
Y Lashes – Y shaped eyelash extensions are created by intertwining two strands of synthetic lashes into a singe Y shape. They create a voluminous effect with just a small amount of lashes.They are a great option for those who do not have many eyelashes to work with.
